In this Article we will talk about the Basics of Flight Dynamics. There are four forces that effect flight; two that help and two that fight against you. Thrust and Lift are essential for flight, but are forced to overcome Drag and Weight.

Egyptian Air Force strikes against Israeli targets in the occupied Sinai Peninsula on the first day of the October War in 1973 made a massive contribution to Arab success during the early part of the conflict. These attacks are considered as the key to the several victories achieved during this war.

The Egyptian Helwan HA - 300

 

 

In the beginning of the sixties Egypt started an ambitious project to develop and produce a supersonic fighter with Spanish assistance. Willi Messerschmitt the famous German engineer was responsible for the project, he and his team designed a lightweight supersonic fighter designated as HA-300P. When Spain ended its support to the project the entire Messerschmitt team was moved to Egypt. The Austrian jet engine expert Ferdinand Brandner was invited to develop a new turbojet for the new fighter.

It was 8:45 in the morning of the 5th of June 1967 the Israeli air attack started and in less than 3 hours Egypt lost more than 227 military airplanes on the ground.

The first Eygptian aircraft taking-off from England in the beginning of their long flight to Egypt on the 23rd of May 1932.

 

In the late 1928 the Egyptian parliament proposed the creation of an Egyptian air force. The Egyptian ministry of war announced that it needs volunteers to the new arm and 200 Egyptian officers volunteered for the new arm, from them only for will be chosen following strict medical tests and technical examinations and those will be the first Egyptian military pilots.
